Topics

Testing

  • The website should work, however there are suspected pain points (ex when an application accesses more than one website)(ex when an application can import/export data files) and confirm they work.
    • What count’s as passing the test?

Current Issues

  • Stalemates
  • When the websites are moved, it will have a new web address.
    • No problems, but when we move to production home pages must be updated.
  • Regional – with ASP websites, currently have a popup error message
    • There are hardcoded website locations that need to be fixed.  (Some asp.net websites have the same problem)
  • Regional – with ASP websites, are running in IE compatibility mode
    • No issue
  • Regional –ASP websites, are configured as sub-websites
    • All sub-websites (PRS, RCTS, TS, etc) are moved at once, therefore all sub-websites need to be adjusted for the popup error message. Labor needed.
  • SASD - ASP.Net Forms technology, have a history problem.
    • Database Server is unable to recognize user of a web application.
    • This is a showstopper for many applications.
  • SASD - ASP.Net Forms technology, moved to a location that has IE compatibility mode turned on.
  • Maximo – Issues moving Maximo to HTTPS . (F5 can only handle 1 port, but Maximo has a port per cluster per instance – investigating creation of an alias website for conversion.)(Non ISD staff will be needed to test development conversion) (Rest service integration questions)
