Zscaler - Cannot Connect to Meetings

Zscaler is a security application deployed by DTech that works to prevent malicious Internet activity.


If you are working remotely and having difficulties launching a Skype, a GoToMeeting, or another meeting application, please perform the following:

  • Go to the Windows search box - type: zscaler.
  • Click the Zscaler app icon to launch the Zscaler Client Connector.

  • On the Zscaler Client Connector - Internet Security - click Turn Off.

  • Click the Continue button.

  • Zscaler's Internet Security is disabled.

This temporarily disables Zscaler so you can run meeting apps. DTECH is working on getting all meeting applications to not be blocked. Zscaler also resets after a certain amount of time so if you have meetings that start to not function properly check your Zscaler status again.
