Step-by-step guide
To enter a ticket when the configuration item already exists in the CMDB
- Select a component that represents the type of configuration item you are changing.
- In the Affected CI/s field, you will see a list of configuration items matching the component selected - select the item you are changing. If the task is to create a new configuration item, add the item to the CMDB first.
