Add Init

The Add Init program is used to add Business Initiatives to the system. When you click this button you will be passed to a form similar to the following

In the above section, if you select District under BI Level then the Department or Section support drop drowns will not display and District support becomes required.

If you select Department/Office under BI Level then the Section support drop down will not display. District and Department support both become required.

If you select Section/Group under BI Level then all three Support drop downs become required.

If BI Level support is SASD | SASD Ops | Cust Care – and you change District support to Both Dist – then the Section support drop down will not display.

The Business Initiative Editors section will not display unless you are a Lead/Manager.

To use this form, populate the fields above (that you can) and then press one of the Save buttons.

The fields with the * are required. The rest of the fields are optional.

Buttons

• Check Spelling
• Save and Continue – Add more fields, save data, populate more fields
• Save and Close - Saves the form and return to the list
• Save and New - Saves the current initiative and clears the form so the user can create a second record
• Clear
• Cancel – Reloads the form without any changes
• >> Add
• << Remove
• Add

Important functions

Check Spelling – The Check Spelling function is used to check the spelling of the initiative. When you click this button all controls that render as boxes that would show more than a line of data

Business Initiative Editors

Milestones

Milestones do not become late until they have passed the due date/revised due date. They haven’t been reported on but have a status (that is not hold, canceled, or completed). The Due Date cannot be changed to a value before todays date. The ‘Description’ field is limited to 500 characters.
